"Winter Ideathon" - Shaping the Future of Web3 through Innovation
Introduction
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Winter Ideathon, an exciting competition organized by Web3 Space. This unique offline Ideathon aims to encourage creativity and spark new ideas in Web3 which is open to all participants both domestically and globally who are able to attend the event in person. The event will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam and will officially launch from November 10, 2023 to December 16, 2023.
The Winter Ideathon aims to foster an environment that encourages participants to think outside the box. Coming to Web3 Space - Winter Ideathon, you will be able to use your creativity for products that revolve around the competition's themes, including DeFi, SocialFi & GameFi, NFT & RWA, and General DApps.
Collaboration is at the heart of Web3, and the Ideathon emphasizes the importance of teamwork. Participants can form teams and work together to refine their ideas, leveraging each other's expertise to create something truly groundbreaking.
In addition, this Ideathon also organized two special workshop: "Blockchain 101 & What products your ecosystem wants" and "How to win an ideathon/hackathon & ecosystem support" to help contestants have useful training sessions from top speakers.
The Winter Ideathon is not just a competition; it's a launchpad for ideas that have the potential to shape the future of Web3. 9.12.2023: How to Win an Ideathon/Hackathon & Ecosystem Support
The workshop will provide valuable insights into winning strategies for participating in Hackathon/Ideathon competitions.
During the Panel Discussion, speakers will share how their ecosystems will support Web3 Builders in the Winter Ideathon, providing guidance and specialized assistance to participating teams.
16.12.2023: Pitching Day
The top 15 outstanding teams will compete to determine the 4 winning teams corresponding to the 4 tracks.
Additionally, at Pitching Day, there will be fascinating insights shared by representatives from Layer 1.
This event also presents an excellent opportunity for networking among participants, where people can engage and share stories about Web3/Blockchain.
Winter Ideathon - official rule
Individual Participation:
Each participant is allowed to join only one team.
Project Eligibility:
Projects must fall under one of the specified themes: DeFi, SocialFi & GameFi, NFT & RWA, General DApps.
Originality Requirement:
Teams are not allowed to copy or use ideas from existing products. Each project must demonstrate originality and innovation.
No Plagiarism:
Teams are strictly prohibited from copying and using ideas from existing products. Plagiarism is not allowed, and originality is highly encouraged.
KYC Requirement:
All participating teams are required to undergo Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to be eligible for prizes.
These rules are in place to ensure fair competition, encourage creativity, and maintain the integrity of the Winter Ideathon.
